Isabell Brusius

September 2026-present

I am a PhD Student at the Technical University of Munich (Germany), studying the climate adaptation of mosquitoes with a focus on the role of transposable elements (TEs). Supported by a training grant from the One Health Platform, I am visiting the González Lab to further investigate the evolutionary impact of TEs, and I am really excited to gain new perspectives and learn new approaches.
