Form the 5th to the 9th of January 2026, our lab was invited to The Barbados meeting on Enlightening the Dark Matter of the Genome. Organised by Guillaume Bourque and Cedric Feschotte, this interactive workshop brings together approximately 35 researchers working in the fields of transposable elements, repetitive DNA, centromeres, telomeres, epigenetics, functional genomics and evolution. In addition to inviting each participant to present their own work, participants are invited to take part in discussions on a variety of topics that pertain to this area of research.
